Coaching Sessions with Individuals
My practice specializes in consulting with individuals and families. As such, I tailor my coaching sessions – using a multi-modality approach – to meet the specific needs of my clients. *Christian counseling is an option that allows individuals to incorporate Christian concepts into how we understand or charge to live life as whole beings and how we learn to see ourselves as God sees us through the lens of beauty, love and goodness.
Coaching Sessions with Pastors, Pastoral Cabinet, & Lay Leaders
Coaching sessions will provide an opportunity to assess and identify mental health challenges within your congregation that leaders would like to focus on. Skills such as how to recognize when someone is suffering with a mental illness; how to show compassion and provide effective brief pastoral counseling; how to use appropriate language when engaging with congregants and community members; and how to refer to local treatment centers are just some of the tools you will learn.
Bible Study Series (3 week minimum commitment is required)
Exploring mental health within biblical narratives to see how God and Jesus assisted those suffering. Many of the prophets, disciples and even Jesus experienced moments where they felt like there world was crashing and all hope was lost. Nevertheless, they stay the path and trusted God. We will see faithful Christians dealing with difficult times and together discuss how they overcame their troubles. With prayer, study, and courageous discussion we will begin to heal our wounds!
